Thank You Nichole!

Those who know my stamping habits, know that I love PaperTrey Ink! Nichole is one of the owners and the person whose creativity I am most amazed with. Every month, her projects and stamp sets are more impressive than the last-she keeps us coming back for more. Thanks Nichole for all of your wonderful ideas and your dedication to the stamping industry and us, your faithful customers.

And to you, Nichole, I give a big thank you!

Race Chaser

I have a new title for myself-Race Chaser. It seems that I have recently become someone that follows various family members around marathons to take pictures. This last weekend, I was in Eugene, OR chasing my mom, sister, and cousin around Eugene for the marathon and half marathon.

My cousin, Anne, decided she was going to run the half marathon and invited my sister to join her, so she did. Then my mom got wind of the entire thing and decided she was going to train for the full marathon! She did and did an amazing job. This was her first marathon, at age 60, and she finished in 4 hours and 35 minutes-WAY TO GO, MOM!

Here are some pictures from the day . . . we were able to see my mom at miles 7, 21, and the finish. We saw my cousin and sister at mile 7 and the finish.

Here is a picture of my sister at mile 7 ish

This is my cousin, Anne finishing the race

Here is my mom at mile 21; my sister ran the last 5 miles with her!

Here is my mom finishing the race!

This is the three of them after the race-awesome job ladies!

Have a great one, Jodi

Photography Class

I signed up to take Maggie Holmes' Photography Class and it was a blast. One week, I took my sister, Amy, out to do a photo shoot. We were joking that is was similar to taking senior portraits at age 28! Below are a few of the shots I took. It was a great class and I learned a lot. If you would like to leave feedback about my photography ability, please do so-I am still learning and love the help! Have a great one, Jodi

We're at it again

Amy and I have been baking again-but not together. Amy made cupcakes for the fastpitch retreat we were suppose to have tomorrow and i got the job of decorating them. I can say that Amy did a wonderful job baking-they were delicious. I wish I could say the same for the decorating of them, but for my first time not so bad.

Here is the tray all put together-don't they look wonderful!

Another close up . . .

Have a great day!

This is a quick card I put together for someone's birthday-I can't even remember who. I have been making so many birthday cards. I love the new PTI Year of Flowers stamps sets, and this is February's Violet. It was an easy card to make, I just wish they had the dies that would cut out the violets-it would sure make life a lot easier. Hopefully someday.

My Sister

My sister, Amy, and I made cinnamon rolls from SCRATCH a couple of weeks ago! It was a lot of fun . . . here are some pictures from that fun time!

This one is of Amy making the dough and wiping her face!

This one is of Amy-she is just sampling the goods!

This one is of the cinnamon rolls, just out of the oven-they haven't even been frosted yet!

And the finished product-just waiting to be eaten!
