Race Chaser

Hi
I have a new title for myself-Race Chaser. It seems that I have recently become someone that follows various family members around marathons to take pictures. This last weekend, I was in Eugene, OR chasing my mom, sister, and cousin around Eugene for the marathon and half marathon.

My cousin, Anne, decided she was going to run the half marathon and invited my sister to join her, so she did. Then my mom got wind of the entire thing and decided she was going to train for the full marathon! She did and did an amazing job. This was her first marathon, at age 60, and she finished in 4 hours and 35 minutes-WAY TO GO, MOM!

Here are some pictures from the day . . . we were able to see my mom at miles 7, 21, and the finish. We saw my cousin and sister at mile 7 and the finish.

Photography Class

I signed up to take Maggie Holmes' Photography Class and it was a blast. One week, I took my sister, Amy, out to do a photo shoot. We were joking that is was similar to taking senior portraits at age 28! Below are a few of the shots I took. It was a great class and I learned a lot.
